Package dyeing

At our modern and well-equipped dyehouse, we use a wide range of machines to package dye yarns that exceeds our customers’ expectations, with batch sizes ranging from 6kg to 500kg.

We specialise in dyeing:

  • acrylic

  • aramids

We also dye the following mixed blend yarns:

  • viscose/linen

  • cotton/nylon

  • polyester/cotton

  • wool/Lenzing

We’re not just limited to dyeing - we can also bleach, scour and overdye yarns.

Once the yarn is dyed to perfection, we then make sure it’s backwound onto 4-degree cardboard tubes, making it more efficient for you to start weaving.

Colour matching

Our fully equipped laboratory offers an excellent colour matching service totally free of charge.

We can dye 5g sample hanks of yarn, tailored to match your individual colour preferences. Your can talk to our colour experts one-on-one, via phone, email, or even come and visit us in person to discuss your vision. Or, simply send us a sample and we’ll work on matching it for you.

If you’re looking for a brand new shade, we can check it against the standard in our lab and send you a 5g hank of yarn to check. If it’s not quite right, we’ll keep working on it until you’re happy with the result.

The lab features state-of-the-art sample dyeing machines and precise colour measurement systems. We can also predict recipe predictions for package dyeing, helping to support the production dyehouse and deliver you a speedy, reliable service.
