Rob Taylor appointed Commercial Director of Atkinson Dyeing

Rob Taylor has been appointed as Commercial Director of Atkinson Dyeing, having previously worked at the business’s parent company AW Hainsworth.

Mr Taylor was previously the Yarn Production and Weaving Manager at Hainsworth, and is an eighth-generation member of the Hainsworth family. The Hainsworths have run the Pudsey-based textile weaving company since 1783, which has supplied fabrics to Buckingham Palace and the House of Commons.

Mr Taylor’s appointment follows the acquisition of Atkinson Dyeing by AW Hainsworth in December 2019. Atkinson Dyeing has operated in Keighley since 1978, and specialises in commission-based package dyeing for customers across a wide range of markets.
